PUTTY XMODEM FILE TRANSFER SERIAL
Putty is much more than a simple serial port communication tool, I will cover more on Putty in my future post. ZMODEM greatly simplifies file transfers compared to XMODEM. Keith Petersen made a minor update to always turn on 'quiet mode', and called the result XMODEM. It allowed users to transmit files between their computers when both sides used MODEM.
